Honey-do lists in Pleasant View

7 Honey-Do Jobs to Stack Into One Visit in Pleasant View, UT

Seven small jobs that fit one visit in Pleasant View, all from real lists and reviews: a sagging front door, drywall touch-ups, a bit of siding, a cabinet hinge, curtains and loose bar stools, furniture assembly and a couch's reclining gear. Put several on one list and send it in for handyman work in Pleasant View.

Where this list comes from

Tyler described his most profitable kind of day when he signed on with us: "I can do a small list in a few hours, charge a minimum to show up, and stack up a few in a day." That is punch list and honey-do repair work, and most of the jobs below come off two example lists he gave us. The first took about two hours. The second ran about two and a half. The last two items come from Google reviews.

Pleasant View is second on his own ranked list of priority towns, right after Brigham City. It's a town of family houses, too: at the 2020 census 46.3 percent of its 3,319 households had children under 18 living in them (census figures as reported on Wikipedia, read October 24, 2026). The town sits on the northern edge of Weber County, about 13.3 miles in a straight line from our base, well inside the range we cover.

Seven jobs that stack well

1. A front door that sags

Straight off the first example list, on the same visit as the siding and the drywall. Door work has its own page: door repair and installation.

2. Drywall touch-ups

First list again, "minor drywall touch up" in his words. Dents, small holes and knocked corners are the usual version. A patch that has to dry before it can be finished may need its own date, and you hear that when you send the list. More on drywall repair.

3. A few boards of siding

The first list opened with "repair some hardy siding." Small exterior patching like that sits under home repair.

4. One cabinet door hinge

From the second list. One hinge on one cabinet door, the kind of thing nobody books a handyman for on its own. Bigger cabinet jobs are on cabinet installation.

5. Curtains and loose bar stools

"Hang some curtains, tighten bar stools." Both were on the second list with the hinge. Pictures, mirrors and art go up on the same kind of visit.

6. Furniture that needs putting together

A Google review from July 2026 reads, in full: "Did an amazing job putting together and installing a Murphy bed." (Amy S.) Furniture assembly is on our service list.

7. A recliner that stopped reclining

Morgan R. wrote in an August 2023 Google review: "Tyler fixed the lock on my front door. He fixed the reclining gear on my couch."

Longer lists from two customers

Tony W., in a May 2024 Google review: "I gave him the key to my house and he worked on several of my projects," with a new door and new door locks among them. A store owner who hired Tyler for stairs, Belliston Jewelry, wrote in August 2023 that he "also offered to repaint our siding that needed to be done."

On why the business carries the name it does, Tyler told us: "I thrive on details and try to show that with my name with everything being done to the T."

What fits one visit, and what needs its own date

Both of Tyler's example lists closed out in one visit. Our Pleasant View page marks door adjustments and hardware, small drywall patches, trim repair and caulking as usually one visit. A few things need a second date because something has to dry, be rebuilt or acclimate first: drywall that has to dry before finishing, a fence section with a failed post, or flooring once the material has to sit in the house. The Pleasant View page lays that out in a table, and we flag it when the list comes in so nobody is surprised by a return trip.

What can't go on the list

In Tyler's words when he signed on: "Electrical, plumbing, or anything to do with decks." Those three are off the table everywhere we work, Pleasant View included. If one turns up on your list we tell you when you send it, so you can line up the right trade before the visit.

Sending us the list

Write it out, add a photo of each item if you can, and send it from the free estimate page or call (801) 390-3346. Tyler reads it, comes back with a ballpark and confirms the details by phone, then either books it or sends a written estimate. If the photos don't show enough he sets a time to come look. Property managers can send a unit turnover list the same way, since commercial property maintenance is one of our two main lines. We work Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is a minimum charge for short visits, confirmed before anything is booked, which is a big part of why seven small jobs on one list beat seven separate calls.

New to the term? What a punch list is, and how it differs from a honey-do list.
