About Mantua, UT
Mantua was settled in 1863 by émigrés from Denmark, led by Hans Jens Jensen and sent to the valley by Lorenzo Snow to grow flax. A sign at the main entry route reads "Founded 1864." Snow came from Mantua, Ohio, and the town took that name in his honor, though the Danish settlers changed the pronunciation to "man-away."
Before the name stuck, the community was called Box Elder Valley, Copenhagen, Flaxville, Geneva, Hunsaker Valley, Little Copenhagen and Little Valley.
Mantua Reservoir, also called Brigham City Reservoir, was created in 1959 and 1960, when Brigham City bought land in the middle of the valley and raised an earthen dam on Big Creek with a dike around most of the perimeter. Brigham City still owns and operates it, several natural springs feed it, and it is open to the public, including ice fishing in the cold months.

He came in and within a few minutes knew what the problem was and exactly how to fix it. He's a very trustworthy and kind guy. Willing to trust that he could solve most any challenge encountered or quickly identify a solve in a home. Also, have confidence with his abilities as well as with vehicles.
Tyler has done a couple of different things for me. He is professional and does research to make certain he knows exactly what needs to be done to do the job correctly. I am finally confident that after four years and two prior repairs that my skylights will no longer leak. Plus he said if they do he will come back and fix them.
Tyler replaced a rotten wood bearing column on our front porch. He did a good job and was willing to explain what he was doing during and before the process. I appreciate the extra care he took in making sure the porch was level and the new post was secure. He did a really great job for us!
