About the area
About Pleasant View, UT
For its first 30 years Pleasant View was counted as part of North Ogden, and it went by several names, including West District, Hot Springs District, Stringtown and simply Out West. Wilford Cragun, one of the first children born in the area, gave it the name Pleasant View in 1882.
Natural hot springs lie in the town's northwest corner, next to the Box Elder County line, and they made the area a popular stop. The Utah Hot Springs Resort opened there in the 1880s with bathing and swimming pools, a 40-room hotel and a dance hall. The resort no longer exists.
Today Pleasant View is a suburban community of Ogden covering about 6.7 square miles. It is part of the Weber School District, which runs Weber High School, Orchard Springs Elementary and Lomond View Elementary here, and from 2008 to 2018 the Pleasant View station was the northern end of the FrontRunner commuter rail line.

While Tyler was looking at my house he was professional, honest and upfront. During his initial consultation he quickly fixed my doorbell. Since then I gave him the key to my house and he worked on several of my projects that consist of Garage opener maintenance, installation of a new door, install of door locks and various items that I could not tackle.
Tyler is a great handyman. I had some trouble with my dishwasher not sitting right, which led to lots of trouble while loading/unloading it. He came in and within a few minutes knew what the problem was and exactly how to fix it. He's a very trustworthy and kind guy. I'd trust him to work at my house while I was away if I had a bigger project. 5 stars!
Tyler fixed the lock on my front door. He fixed the reclining gear on my couch. He changed out my dryer and was able to quickly identify and solve the electrical head not matching. Willing to trust that he could solve most any challenge encountered or quickly identify a solve in a home. Also, have confidence with his abilities as well as with vehicles.
Tyler has done a couple of different things for me. He is professional and does research to make certain he knows exactly what needs to be done to do the job correctly. I am finally confident that after four years and two prior repairs that my skylights will no longer leak. Plus he said if they do he will come back and fix them.
Tyler replaced a rotten wood bearing column on our front porch. He did a good job and was willing to explain what he was doing during and before the process. I appreciate the extra care he took in making sure the porch was level and the new post was secure. He did a really great job for us!
